91 Things That Changed My Life: My dogs

My two corgis!

I want to begin this post by saying this, there is nothing in life like a dog. A dog is the best friend you will ever have in life. Their love knows no bounds, and I pity anyone who has never owned one.

The first dog that I ever had was named Lucky Lady. She was a rescue pekingese. We named her Lucky, because she was lucky that we saved her. She was such a good dog, very chill, and loyal.

The next two dogs I had were named Fonzie, and Midnight. We named them that because Fonzi looked like Henry Winkler from Happy Days, and Midnight was pitch black. These were the first two dogs that I ever had since they were puppies. Unfortunately, my parents made us move the dogs outside. To this day I always regret not fighting them on that.

My next dog was another rescue that my ex-girlfriend saved. His name was Peluche, and although she owned the dog, I felt like he was mine as well. Peluche was such a crazy dog. I love him very much. I never met a dog with his type of crazy energy.

My life truly changed when I met Gatsby

Natalie and Gabriel Meet Gatsby

My wife and I bought Gatsby from a couple. Every dog I have ever gotten was free but we fell in love with the idea of getting a Corgi, and I don't know if I could ever have a non-corgi again. We had Gatsby from puppyhood, and he is the smartest dog I've ever had. A lot of that had to do with my wife's training.

About a year ago, my wife went on a tangant about geting another dog. I was really against the idea, but I could tell that she really wanted this. She showed me many dogs and I was about to pull the plug, until we found a half Corgi named Backham. I said, "Natalie it's either Beckham or no dog". We we got Beckham and renamed him Gizmo!

Gizmo is the most unique dog. He makes funny faces when he sees you, he shows his teeth which is hilarious. He loves human food so much, and he is the biggest cuddle bug ever.

We always brought our babies to our staycations. They loved traveling with us.

I have loved all of you so much. It has been sad to watch you all go. Know that I will never stop thinking of all of you. You are all my babies.
