I've been meaning to write this blog for a while, but life has been distracting. This Summer, I had the privilege of going on vacation to Wildwood, New Jersey. Now, I am aware that whenever someone thinks about the Jersey Shore, they immediately associate it with drunk, steroid users partying the night away. I assure you that Wildwood, and Sea Side Heights (The location of the T.V show, the Jersey Shore), are two different locations.
When I was a child, it was a tradition to go to Wildwood every year. I can't express how amazing this place is. Picture being in a hotel 3 minutes walking distance, from miles of beach and boardwalk. The Boardwalk has everything from arcades, pizza shops, T-Shirt/Toy shops, restaurants, amusement rides, and two waterparks. The best part is that all of our cousins would also make the trip and we'd own a whole block of hotel rooms.

We ended up visiting Wildwood when I was 17 years old, and it was just as awesome as I remembered. For the last 22 years, I have been begging my family to go back, but no matter how hard I banged the drum, no one really showed any interest. It was really important for me to show my nephews and niece this place before they got too old, and I am happy to announce that they loved it.

It turns out that Wildwood is just as amazing, or even more amazing as an adult (now that I have money). I am half kidding that I would like to be buried there. I only wish I could have shared this place with other people I have loved, but life isn't perfect.
